Tonight we went to the temple at Uluwatu. This name means "rocks at the end of the earth". The temple is on top of a really big cliff. There are a lot of big, crashing waves below. There are also a lot of monkeys at Uluwatu. If you are not careful, they will steal your sunglasses right off your head and won't give them back until you give them a banana or some other fruit. It is so funny!
This is me, my brother and my mom praying at Uluwatu. Boys have to wear sashes around their waists and adults have to wear sarongs (which is kind of like a sheet that you wear as a skirt). Even men have to wear them! My mom is wearing one in this picture.
This is a picture of the cliffs from Uluwatu. This area is really popular to surf at because of the big waves. There were no surfers there when we went.
Look - my dad is wearing a sarong also!
This is a picture of our guide from Amanusa. He was so nice. He has the exact same birthday as my dad! They were even born on the same year!
This is me relaxing at Uluwatu watching the sunset.
