    Another visit to Angkor Wat

    June 2, 2015

We like it so much we visited it again! This is a picture of us with a Buddhist monk. He asked to take the picture with us on his cell phone. My dad said that it is because he might not have seen many blond kids before.

This is me and my brother in front of the ancient library.

These are a cross between a lion and dog guarding Angkor Wat.

This is one of the most famous parts of Angkor Wat. It is called the "Sea of Churning Milk". I am not sure why it is named this because there is no milk. It is supposed to be the story of a country at war with another country to win the universe.

This is one of the main towers inside Angkor Wat. It is supposed to look like a lotus flower. There are a lot of lotus flowers in Buddhist temples.

I am really sweaty in this picture. It was so hot there!

Here are two more Buddhist monks. There were a lot of monks at Angkor Wat. They look very different, but a lot of them have cell phones which my mom thought was funny.

This is my dad going up the staircase to the highest temple. They wouldn't let any kids up here because they said it was too steep.

Here is another Buddhist monk who was the same age as me!

This is us going back to Siem Reap in a tuk tuk. Look at how sweaty we are! We look like we jumped in a pool!
