We took a Tuk Tuk ride to Wat Pho. A tuk tuk is a three wheeled motorcycle that is like a taxi. It is so much fun! We went to see the reclining buddha of Bangkok.
My family in the tuk tuk.
My guide Nuch. She was so nice!
The reclining buddha. It was so big!
We made a donation to the temple. You put 20 baht in a box and they give you a bowl of 108 little coins. Then you take the 108 coins and put one coin in each bowl. There are 108 bowls. At the end, you get to make a wish. I am not going to tell anyone what my wish was so it will come true.
This is me in front of the four chedis (which is like a tower) of Wat Pho. Each chedi represents a different king. The first is for the king that built the Grand Palace. The second is for the king that built Wat Pho. The third is for the king that built the Temple of Morning. The fourth is for the current king.
This is the hall of buddhas in Wat Pho. They are renovating each buddah with new gold leaf. Each buddha costs $10,000 to renovate!
